What's the point in them being happy now if they're going to be sad later? The answer is, because they're going to be sad later. -The Doctor

9/30 How important you think education is:

Very important. I get stressed about school a lot, but I love learning. I think reading and writing have had a huge impact on my life. Being able to express myself and read about how others express themselves has helped me grow. I'm interested in just about everything. I like learning things that I can apply to everyday life. That's why I loved general science so much. I was like "Oh! I know why that happens!" all the time, and I had only touched the surface of understanding it. Learning about how my body operates has made me appreciate God's amazing work even more. ;)

So the other night I had this really terrifying nightmare, but it was kind of interesting at the same time. (I have very vivid dreams) I want to write a book now. I know it could end up being really weird writing a book about a dream I had, but if I just base it on the idea, I think it could be pretty cool. I'll try to explain it as best I can.

It started with my dad taking me and my family to an old movie theater on top of a hill in the middle of nowhere. We were sitting there watching what I think was a Alfred Hitchcock film, but I'm not sure, when my dream switched to the parking lot of the theater(I was still inside), it showed a guy and his girlfriend getting out of their car. The guy had a gun and was talking to her about their "plan". They came inside and he started yelling and shooting around randomly. (Now it was a family owned theater, so the owners had their house built onto the whole building.) I ran into a bedroom and the rest of my family ran off in different directions. I witnessed the mother getting shot and killed while I hid behind a nightstand. Finally the cops came and arrested the guy and his girlfriend. Somehow my family became the owners of the theater and the house, and ended up fixing it up and making it look really nice. (meanwhile, about 6 years pass and I become a detective for the police department that arrested the shooter) They didn't want to live there though, so they were trying to sell it. I told them I'd like to buy it, so they sold it to me for $666,000. They moved away and I lived there all alone. It turned out there was a mad women who wanted to kill me living in the back of the house. I never saw her, but I could always hear her screaming and laughing. I was terrified and started crying. I called the police, but they said they couldn't do anything. (I was no longer a detective) A woman came to visit me a few times though. She was the only one who tried to help me. She was never able to get the crazy woman out of the house, but she comforted me. In the end, somehow it was revealed that the crazy woman and the detective were both me. My different personalities. I was suicidal after traumatic experience of seeing a woman be killed, but part of me didn't want to kill myself. So while part of me(the crazy woman) wanted to kill me, the other part of me(the detective) wanted to save me. Then I was trapped in between, confused and scared.

Weird, huh? For the record, I've never watched any psychological thrillers or anything. So it wasn't based off of a movie I watched. It would be cool to turn it into a book and not have the reader know that all three people were just different sides of the same girl until the end.

Murder in the Dark

8/30 What you ate today:

Oh dear...These questions tend to catch me on my bad days. For breakfast I had Eggo waffles, a cinnamon roll, and gummy bears. *wince* For lunch I had cheese pizza with sausage. I just had frozen yogurt and I haven't had dinner yet. Shame on me... ;P

On the bright side, I walked for 45 minutes (Including a two 1-minute intervals of running) and went swimming for about 25 minutes. Does that kind of soften the blow of how disgustingly I ate today?

Yesterday we had a party for a friend of ours who just graduated college. Just her family and mine. It was really fun. We put up colorful paper lanterns and flowers. We had delicious meatballs (recipe here: http://www.gimmesomeoven.com/saucy-asian-meatballs/ ), tri-tip, scallops, baked potatos, and garlic bread. Yummy! We went swimming, played "Like Wise", "Balderdash", and "Murder in the Dark". "Murder in the Dark" was so much fun. The adults went outside to continue their conversation and we turned off all the lights in the house. It was pitch black in some places, with only a very little bit of light in others. My heart was pounding so hard but I loved it. ;)

Be Nice
7/30 Five pet peeves:

1. When people take their food out of the microwave early and don't clear the leftover time.
2. The Charlie Brown adults "MWAmaMAmaMWAmAmaMA" sound that happens when you can kind of hear someone talking on the other side of a wall.
3. When car seat belts get twisted
4. When the plastic cup can't support the spoon and it all tips over
5. The blaring beeping sound that alarm clocks make(I use a ringtone on my phone as a alarm clock now so I don't have to hear that awful beeping.)

It can get annoying, but I like pretty much all music so I don't mind it most of the time.

5/30 Things you want to say to an ex:

What ex? I have nothing to say. Haha ;P

Spring went so fast! It's already up in the 90's where I live. It was actually 100 degrees Sunday. Thankfully, we went up to the lake and got to sit in the shade and there was a breeze so it turned out really nicely. Speaking of which, that is what we did for Mother's day. My whole family(Including my new brother-in-law) and my pastor's family went up. His daughter brought her baby who is only 5 weeks old! He's adorable. My mom was so happy to be able to hold a baby on Mother's day. :)

I hung out with my brother's and their friend. We played a lot of card games. We also brought grilled chicken and sausage for sandwiches, and brownies and Madeleine cookies for dessert.

My mom prefers hand made things for Mother's day so I drew a picture of a mother and baby giraffe. It actually turned out really well. Did you ever notice how sweet giraffes are with each other? It's so cute! ;)

The Tale of Two Bad Mice
I'm am going to be very sad if no one knows who Hunca Munca is...

4/30 Bullet your whole day:

I got up at 9:30 because I didn't fall asleep until 2am.
:( I went for a 45 minute walk on the treadmill while listening to a lot of Demi Lovato and Bridgit Mendler. Which is weird because I rarely listen to them(I love Heart Attack). I took a shower and got ready for the day. I ate chicken, bell peppers, and rice for an early lunch at 10:45 since I missed breakfast. I did my devotions. I read Luke chapter 21. I did my math. I'm very close to the end of the book so I went ahead and did 3 lessons. I just want to be done! (I've been in this math book for way to long. I forgot a lot when I took a break to move, so I had to restart when I was more than half way through.) I ate my early dinner at 3:30 since my whole day was thrown off by sleeping late. I had pasta and meatballs! I just got back from going to Office Depot to get a desk so I can type at without getting carpal tunnel. :P And I just need a school desk. I've been sitting on the couch to do my school. As nice as it sounds, it can get frustrating.

This is totally the wrong day to bullet. I sound like a lazy pig. ;P

I was tagged by @elevatormouse : http://www.polyvore.com/forever_eleven/set?id=82133991

Rule 1: Always post the rules.
Rule 2: Answer the questions the person who tagged you has asked and write eleven new ones.
Rule 3: Tag eleven new people!

Her questions:
1. What is your favourite simple pleasure?
Having someone play with my hair. I really love that. Sometimes I'll sit with my sister and listen to music while she plays with my hair. :)

2. What part of your day do you like best (i.e. dusk, mid-afternoon)?
As much as I love sleeping, I'm definitely a early morning person. I love the sweet silence and feeling like the only human being who is awake in the world. Just me, God, and all the beauty he has created. I love how the sunlight breaks through the morning fog and consumes the darkness of night. It feels new and fresh when the sun rises. In that moment I feel like I can start again too. It's a wonderful way to begin the day.

4. What is your favourite song right now? Why?
That is a really hard question. I love Run by Snow Patrol. I just feel so warm and fuzzy when I hear his voice.

5. Who is your real-life hero, and why?
I have spoken of my elderly friend, Evelyn, before. I think her stories and advice based on personal experiences have matured and humbled me. She is an amazing woman. ;)

6. Do you have a lucky number? If so, what is it? Is there a special reason behind your number?
I don't really believe in numbers being "lucky", but I do like the number 11. I was born on August 11th and it just looks visually appealing to someone who has a little bit of OCD. ;P

7. What's your best habit? Your worst?
I have absolutely no idea. Sorry. ;P

8. What's your favourite part about each of the four seasons?
I love the flowers blooming in Spring. It's a good reminder for new life and moving on from the past. I love celebrating Independence day in the Summer. It's probably my favorite holiday. I love the the smell of apple cider and pumpkin bread in Autumn. It always makes me feel so nostalgic. I love wearing boots and sweaters and going ice skating in the Winter.

9. Do you have a comfort food or drink?
Saltine crackers dipped in apple sauce. ;)

10. If you could learn a foreign language, what would it be? Look up how to say "I love you" in the language. What is it?
French. I long to go to Paris. "Je t-aime" ;)

11. What's your favourite color and why?
I couldn't possibly pick a favorite. It really depends on my mood and what the color is on.

My questions:
1. Are you an introvert or extrovert?
2. Something in the future that you look forward to:
3. Favorite tv show or movie from your childhood:
4. Favorite smell:
5. 5 words/phrases that make you laugh
6. Top 3 places you wish to visit:
7. 3 of your favorite bands/singers:
8. If you could have a superpower, what would want it to be?
9. Least favorite school subject. Why?
10. Favorite love song.
11. What makes you happy when you're feeling down?

Feel free to do this even if I didn't tag you!

A Rose in Bloom
3/30 A book you love:
A Rose in Bloom by Louisa May Alcott. It was the first romantic story I ever read. It's such a sweet book! It's the sequel to Eight Cousins which I also love. If I ever have a son I want to name him Mac. ;)
